From drab to fab!
Everyone knows someone with a bathroom that screams early 2000s. You know, the ones with the grotesque yellow walls and dark amber wood cabinets that make you feel claustrophobic. The Simakis family was that someone, and they were more than ready to part ways with it. This bathroom was actually quite large but wasn’t organized and decorated in a style that maximized its full potential. It was time for a bathroom renovation, and so the owners called RenoAssistance and hired a Verified Contractor!
Before renovation
The original bathroom had pastel yellow walls, a large amber wood vanity, the classic corner bathtub, and a frosted glass shower. The layout and design definitely needed an upgrade. Everything from the tiles to the mouldings was ripped out to make way for all new decor and amenities.
During this bathroom renovation, both form and function had to be addressed. The Verified Contractors redid the plumbing and electrical, ensuring that everything matched up with the new location of each fixture. Then, new flooring and shower tiles were installed. Pot lights were added to brighten up the room. The family also embraced a sumptuous black for their walls, which goes perfectly with the dark wooden vanity. This magnificent primary bathroom has everything you need. You won’t want to leave!
After renovation
Mixing wood tones
Mixing wooden tones has become a popular trend recently, as playing with contrast can give more depth to your design. In this bathroom renovation, the light weathered oak-stained floor is the dominant colour. It creates a gorgeous contrast against the walnut vanity, giving the space a cozy feeling. To complete the look, gold-trimmed mirrors and dried pampas grass were added!
The shower and bathtub of your dreams!
The main focal points of this bathroom are the huge Italian shower and the freestanding tub. A stunning white tile textured with divots covers the shower wall and flows behind the bath. The black river rock shower floor tiles complement the black hardware and further that luxurious style. The Simakis family couldn’t be happier with their bathroom renovation thanks to our Verified Contractors at RenoAssistance.
