The renovation of this amazing contemporary kitchen was done during the complete home remodel of a cottage in Montreal. The project was not only to add square footage to the home with an addition, but to also freshen up and modernize the existing rooms. The clients wanted an open concept to maximize their renovation and the natural light their home allowed.

The new kitchen fit their vision perfectly. The floor-to-ceiling white shaker style cabinets allow for endless storage, all while carrying the feeling of openness throughout the space. We love the choice of black marble tiles and granite countertop that add a touch of sophistication to the room. The molten glass backsplash helps tie in the modernity of the room with a subtle mix of shades of black.

For the island, the designer went with a large workspace, perfect for cooking and entertaining guests. The stools are comfortable, practical and the perfect compliment to the kitchen’s overall modern style. The room is lit with recessed lighting in the ceiling and under the cupboards, as well as white and gold pendant lights over the island.

The clients really enjoyed working with their Renovation Advisor, who worked with them throughout the entire project, and felt confident despite the scope of work needed to be done. The complete turnkey kitchen renovation was done by a Verified Contractor, who helped bring their vision to life.
