A dazzling kitchen
Like many Quebec homeowners (75%1), the Richer family had some interior renovation work done and updated the kitchen in their home located north of the Milles-Îles River. They wanted to rely on a trustworthy professional to carry out their new modern kitchen design and so chose a Verified Contractor from our network who offered outstanding value for money. After a talented team of specialists worked their magic, the Richers are now able to enjoy a kitchen transformed into a functional and modern space just oozing with minimalist elegance.
Textures blend harmoniously
The Richer family is comfortably settled in their two-storey house built in 1992 and have long dreamed of a turnkey kitchen. The original fittings were kept, but the contractor added several new elements, including an impressive island. Its nutmeg-brown laminate base provides a beautiful contrast with the quartz countertop. Stunning white thermoplastic cabinets from the Sublime Collection were installed. Black accents were discreetly integrated to add a sophisticated touch to the decor. The fridge-stove-sink triangle is observed in the new kitchen design, creating an airy and ergonomic workspace. Lastly, pendant lighting above the island and the table define the area.
Oh so elegant white
White is the colour of choice in the Richer kitchen and becomes an another accessory in the room. The gorgeous ceramic backsplash in the metro style gives the space a chic look. As a way to maximize space, the owners bought an over-the-range microwave, installed a Rocheleau pull-out kitchen waste recycling bin and a spice drawer organizer. Long, thin black matte handles were added and are clearly visible on the new cabinets.
Storage niche: a two-in-one solution
The Richer clan especially love this storage niche. It was cleverly integrated into the room and includes space for some attractive colourful accessories. A 500 sq. ft. natural honey-coloured hardwood floor connects the living room, part of the kitchen and the dining room. The Richer family is now ready to be the hosts with the most in the marvellously transformed centrepiece of their home.
