Optimizing and modernizing spaces for greater wellness
After moving into their new home in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, the Hardy family wanted to completely redo the two bathrooms to make them better suited to their individual needs and tastes. Our Verified Contractors met the challenge! Parents on one side, children on the other!
Before renovation
The original primary bathroom was quite spacious but not very functional. The layout was impractical, leaving a lot of unused space. In addition, the style was outdated, and there was very little light.
The homeowners contacted RenoAssistance to find not only a Verified Contractor but also an interior designer who could help them optimize the layout and create a beautiful, bright, and modern bathroom!
After renovation
A shower that stands out
With so much available space, it was practically necessary to install a walk-in shower. It’s a bit like having a spa at home. And that design, just wow! The layout and continuity of marble and faux wood floor tiles right up the shower wall exudes a unique modernity, accentuated by the elegant black faucets.
And for even more relaxation, there’s a freestanding bathtub that perfectly matches the décor and optimally organizes the bathroom. This transformation also involved the construction of a party wall with windows for the shower area.
Two vanities to provide personal space
The second bathroom, used by the children, focuses on practicality. The white floating vanities not only give each child their own space but also make it easy to store items like step stools underneath. In between them sits a large cabinet that stores everything they need on busy mornings. In addition, the greys of the storage spaces, marble floors, and accessories beautifully contrast the white furniture, creating a gorgeous modern space.
