An ultra modern open concept bathroom
After several years, the wait was finally over! This homeowner was finally able to transform their bathroom. It was already pretty unique, but it needed a more functional layout and a fresh new look to go with it.
With a lot of work on their hands, the owner called upon one of our Verified Contractors to do the job. This project involved ripping out tiles in both the main bathroom and the water closet and replacing them with brand-new tiles and matching furniture.
Equipped with some high-quality materials from Quebec and a qualified team, this homeowner got the modern and functional bathroom of their dreams.
Before renovation
The space had potential, but its awkward layout and outdated style needed to go. With so much room dedicated to the vanity and bathtub, the bathroom lacked space, privacy, and functionality. Thankfully, a designer played around with the floorplan and created a layout with a sense of division that felt organic and stylish.

Bathroom walkthrough
Take a stroll through this bathroom to discover all it has to offer!
Playing with texture and colours
The most significant change was the layout of the shower and sink. This beautiful modern shower has a glass door with black framing that matches the rest of the black accents in the bathroom. In addition, the wall separating the shower has a wooden vanity against it – a genius solution to save space and create a sense of privacy.
What makes this room stand out, however, is the brilliant combination of colours and textures that elevates its design. The black floors and walls make it feel luxurious and modern. Then, the eye is drawn towards the contrasting wooden vanity, which adds warmth to the space. Finally, the marbled accent wall ties it all together, making this bathroom one to remember.
Comfort and style: A winning combination
The most unique element of this bathroom is its beautiful fireplace; it separates the space from the adjoining bedroom. Since it was impossible to remove, the designer decided to make it a focal point of the design. First, the fireplace needed a facelift: a fresh coat of black paint was all it took to give it a sleek look. This small change immediately transformed the flow of the room and highlighted the marble copper accent wall. With a sophisticated freestanding tub and a modern design, this bathroom is now ready to be the ultimate home spa retreat.
